- When my husband's two daughters were getting married, they were planning to spend about $25k+ and were expecting us to foot 1/2 the bill with their mother. I put my foot down and said that there is no way I'm forking out $10-12k for each of them. Between the both of us, we have 5 kids.

- My MIL had long term care insurance. What the agent didn't do was tie hers to an inflation index,which I think was intentional because when it came time to use it, the value was only $3000 per month which was only half the monthly cost and we couldn't make up the difference.

- Being a smoker, I know what being targeted feels like. I also knew that the next group would be the people that eat fast food and heavy people. Personally, my diet is excellent.....no fast food, no soda, no junk food. Very much a raw diet and am very healthy and am not over weight.

- I'm ashamed to say I live in the same city as this loser and there are so many more like him and his babies' mamas. We are a welfare hub between Chicago and Milwaukee. It's sad because this was such a beautiful city on the lake.

- Sounds like my house. My husband said that our votes will cancel each other out so he says he might not vote. I don't trust him, I'm voting anyway. :). I told him if he doesn't vote, I'm not going to listen to any whining and complaining after the election. Obama/Biden - 4 more years.

- My daughter was an August baby and I felt that she was not ready to start school but she did anyway but it caught up with her in 4th grade so she was held back. At first, I was upset but it made a world of difference for her. That extra year gave her a chance to mature and be on par with her peers.
